Should others follow Starbucks’ lead and ask patrons not to carry guns?

Starbucks Chief Executive Howard Schultz on Wednesday asked patrons to refrain from bringing their firearms into any of his company’s 11,000 U.S. outlets. The move came two days after a gunman killed 12 in Washington, and a month after the chain closed its outlet in Newtown, Conn., after a pro-gun group asked members to bring their weapons to a meeting there, a short distance from the school where 26 people were shot and killed last winter. “We don’t believe guns should be part of the Starbucks experience,” said Mr. Schultz.Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll.
